PowerUp Studios works closely with partner Pacific Gold Entertainment, an independent film company focused on producing original horror/thriller films for the world market. PGE’s principal personnel include: Mark Tuit Mark founded his first production company at the age of sixteen, focusing on short and industrial films. He moved to Vancouver in the early 90s to attend the Vancouver Film School, and has been producing feature films since 1994. His films include include Barnone, Subhuman, Curiously Dead, Within The Heart, Lunch, Symphony Of Grace, and the TV pilot A Woman’s Tale. Barnone was a sell out at various film festivals, and placed runner-up as the Most Popular Canadian Film at the Vancouver International Film Festival, getting North American distribution, and can be found at a video store near you. Mark is also a noted writer with twenty-five feature screenplays to his credit, of which five have been either optioned or produced. Mark was a film and screenplay instructor at such schools as V.P.A.C., Gastown Actors’ Studio, and C.D.I.S. Arts School. Ron Loudoun Ron Loudon graduated with honours with a diploma of Administrative Management from BCIT in 1983. He then applied his entrepreneur diversification to building a number of real estate development companies, before attending the Foundation course at Vancouver Film School. With his success in investments, business savvy, and a passion for film, Ron purchased two buildings in downtown Vancouver and renovated them into Pathway Studios, adding full HD postproduction facilities, a fully equipped soundstage, and production offices.
